AQL Htpasswd & Htaccess Password Manager Review

For the last five years I've been doing the Member's Area of one of my web sites the hard way. I've had to create the .htaccess and .htpasswd text files manually using a text editor. I search until I found a website to help me encrypt the passwords. Then I had to add all of my users individually which is very time consuming. After all of that work I still had to use program to upload all the necessary files into the appropriate directory. But that wasn't all if I wanted to inform a new user of their login information I had email them individually. In addition if a user cancelled their subscription I had to search for their username and manually remove them from both text files and re-upload the new files to the server.
After searching the internet for an inexpensive solution I finally found the answer. AQL Htpassswd and Htaccess Password Manger was the perfect solution. Once the directory path to your protected folder is all set up the software does the rest for you. It couldn't get any easier. You just type in the username and password you want along with optional user information including real name and email address. Then the AQL software does all the encryption, text file editing and ftp work for you. The software even has the option of emailing login information to your users with no outside software.
Now if a user cancels or puts their subscription on hold I have the option of deleting them or I can just make them inactive until they renew or resume the subscription.
Basically, AQL Htaccess & Htpasswd Password Manager take the place of 5 separate program. No more text editor, no more encryption software or web sites, no more manually copying and pasting usernames and passwords into the .htaccess and .htpasswd files, no more uploading the files and no more manually emailing my members.
I now have time to deal with other aspects of my website and no longer have to worry about managing my users.
I would recommend this software to anyone who runs a password restricted website. You won't find an easier to use application for the price anywhere else.
