Tabernacle Christian Church
WordPress Design, Ministry Resource Architecture, and Community Faith Strategy.
I designed a welcoming and professional digital home for Tabernacle Christian Church using WordPress and the Enfold theme. For a historic congregation like Tabernacle, located in the heart of Franklin, Indiana, the website needed to serve as both a digital sanctuary for current members and an inviting “front porch” for prospective visitors. I focused on a clean, “community-first” aesthetic, utilizing high-resolution imagery of their sanctuary and active congregation to reflect the warmth and tradition of their fellowship.
Beyond the visual design, I engineered the site to function as a robust ministry hub. I organized their diverse programs—including youth ministries, adult study groups, and community outreach—into a clear, structured navigation system. By prioritizing a mobile-responsive architecture, I ensured that families can easily check service times, watch sermons, or access the church calendar from any device, establishing the church as a modern, accessible pillar of the local community.
“A church website is more than just information; it’s an invitation. I focused on a design that reflects the heart of Tabernacle Christian Church, ensuring that whether a visitor is looking for a new spiritual home or a member is catching up on a sermon, they feel the same sense of community and care that the church has provided for generations.” — Doug Walker
