WordPress Design, Vacation Rental Branding, and Regional Tourism Strategy.

I designed a vibrant and inviting digital presence for STAGger Oasis using WordPress and the Enfold theme. As a premier beachfront vacation rental in Orange Beach, Alabama, the website needed to function as an immersive “virtual tour” that captures the sun-drenched, relaxing atmosphere of a Gulf Coast getaway. I utilized a visual-first layout with high-resolution imagery of the condo’s interiors, Gulf-front views, and the surrounding Pelican Pointe amenities, ensuring that potential guests can visualize their vacation the moment they land on the home page.

To support the booking process, I engineered a comprehensive Rates and Availability architecture, allowing guests to easily navigate seasonal pricing and stay requirements. I also prioritized a robust Local Activity and Dining guide, organizing dozens of recommendations across Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Perdido Key. By creating a mobile-responsive environment that balances detailed amenity lists with interactive location maps, I ensured that travelers can plan their entire trip—from dinner reservations to dolphin tours—directly from their smartphones.

The Challenge

In the highly competitive vacation rental market of the Alabama Gulf Coast, a property needs more than just a listing on a major booking site; it needs a dedicated digital home that establishes trust and authority. The challenge for STAGger Oasis was to provide a wealth of information—ranging from complex seasonal rates and specific HOA rules to curated lists of local restaurants—without overwhelming the user. We had to solve the problem of creating a professional, high-end “hospitality” feel that still felt personal and managed-by-owner.

The Strategy

The design strategy focused on “Experience-Led Discovery.” We prioritized a layout that highlights the property’s unique selling points, such as its ground-floor accessibility and steps-from-the-beach location. By categorizing local attractions into “Activities” and “Dining” for three different regional hubs, we positioned STAGger Oasis not just as a place to stay, but as a gateway to the entire Gulf Coast experience. The visual strategy used a bright, coastal palette to mirror the beachfront environment.

The site is fast, secure, and provides a professional alternative to standard third-party listings, successfully bridging the gap between the property’s beachfront luxury and the diverse activities of the Alabama coast. By modernizing their digital presence, I’ve provided them with a tool that works as a comprehensive travel guide, turning casual browsers into confirmed guests.
