I designed a specialized digital platform for American Standard Testing using WordPress and the Enfold theme. Because their work is grounded in laboratory precision and regulatory compliance, the design focuses on a highly structured, data-driven layout. I prioritized a professional aesthetic that immediately signals authority to engineers, architects, and government contractors.

The site’s architecture is built around Laboratory Service Silos, ensuring that technical data for soil, concrete, asphalt, and environmental testing is easy to find and navigate. I also integrated a streamlined consultation system, allowing project managers to request specific ASTM-compliant testing services through a clean, high-contrast interface optimized for both the office and the job site.

As an independent lab, they needed a design that proved their technical credentials (like ACI and NICET certifications) were as solid as the materials they test.

The design strategy focused on “Credential Authority.” We moved away from generic stock-heavy visuals and instead highlighted the actual laboratory environment and specific testing standards (ASTM). By creating a clear hierarchy for their services, we ensured that high-stakes clients—who are often working under tight deadlines—could find the exact compliance data they needed without unnecessary scrolling.

While the customer has since updated the site internally, the original design provided a fast, secure, and professional framework that accurately mirrored the precision and reliability of their laboratory work.
