I prioritized a clean, professional aesthetic that highlights their 30 years of expertise while ensuring the site remains fast and intuitive for users navigating everything from floor plans to active listings.

To showcase their quality craftsmanship, I built a series of high-resolution galleries that organize their work by room and feature, from custom kitchens to exterior finishes. By focusing on a “Visual-First” layout, I ensured that potential homeowners can easily see the level of detail Spoon brings to every project, whether they are looking to buy an existing home or design a custom build from scratch.

As a family business in Columbus, IN, that handles both the sale and construction of homes, Spoon needed a way to present their wide range of services without overwhelming the visitor. The challenge was to create a design that felt personal and “small in size” but maintained the professional weight of a top-tier construction firm. We had to solve the puzzle of balancing high-volume photography with clear, action-oriented navigation.

The design strategy focused on “Experience-Driven Search.” We wanted to guide the user through the entire process—from initial design and community selection to the final walk-through. By creating dedicated paths for “Real Estate” and “Custom Construction,” we ensured that every visitor, regardless of their specific needs, could find a clear starting point for their journey.
